Godrej Agrovet Limited (GAVL) is among the largest producer of palm oil & the largest commercial food miller in the world. The company has its root belonging to the great Indian conglomerate Godrej Group. The facility developed by GAVL at Bundi, near Kota, in Rajasthan, is said to be their most premium facility with regards to size, utilities & machineries set up by them.
Concern
Supreme efforts were already taken by GAVL to ensure that their facility stands out and be among the very best in world, as it was evident by their rich looks of their facility & the royal architectural designs & construction of their Admin building & Worker welfare building. GAVL wanted their Bundi Plant to be a very well managed facility, a facility that promotes the idea of creating an inspiring work culture with regards to productivity, quality & safety that is solely achieved by the efforts of the employees & workers, supported through effective visuals & displays. They wanted every visitor visiting their facility to be impressed by the work culture created in their facility.
Visualmitra Role
Visualmitra undertakes Facility Visual Management Project (FVMP), basically a turnkey Visual Management Solution. GAVL appointed Visualmitra to carry out the FVMP.
Visualmitra send their Visual Management Expertise to GAVL, to survey the Facility in which detailed requirements pertaining to the Facility Visuals Displays were identified. A Comprehensive Report was prepared and forwarded to GAVL, for further process with the suggestion given in regards to Requirement, Material & Size of the Visual Display Boards.
Safety Signage’s to inculcate a Safety Culture among the Employees. Area Identification Boards to bring in more clarity at different locations like Shop Floor, Warehouses, Utility Buildings, Admin Office, Worker Welfare Building & Canteen were identified. Posters supporting International Techniques like 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, GMP, etc. were identified. Displays communicating about Health & Safety, Quality, Productivity and Social causes like Environment & Worker Welfare were shared through detailed Report by Visualmitra.
Visualmitra suggestions via the Facility/Factory Visual Management (FVM) Report made GAVL give more awareness about the Visual tools that were needed to make their facility more impressive & letting the visitors know that the GAVL Facility & it’s team has done the best to implement a good working culture in all their respective departments.
