Task
The requirement was to create a common place at the shop floor. The objective was to create a platform for knowledge transfer, analysis and visibility of the company performance in terms of quality, productivity & safety. Also there was a need for updating the current happenings in the automotive sector to all the employees which will help in maintaining the pace to be competitive in the industry sector.
Solution
VisualMitra expert visited Prospect Engineering plant and noted the objectives and views of the top management. Based on the identified requirements, Visualmitra created a design of DOJO gallery / Quality Bay covering the expectations. After the approval from the management, the complete design and installation activities were completed by Visualmitra team. The gallery covered Performance on quality, productivity and safety, Voice of customer, current happenings in the industry etc.
Result
The gallery has become the knowledge hub communicating information on all critical issues of the industry. This has helped the company in creating the awareness on various parameters. The work instructions, Do’s and Don’t displayed at the gallery helped the team to ensure errorless working practices. The performance analysis on quality, productivity & safety has given insight to all the team members which triggers prompt actions in right direction.
